Ah, see, I agree with everything you said, except I LOVE them, um, for all the same reasons.
I think that even with the CRAZAY, what Tonks and Remus have together is very real. It just has all this other stuff (CRAZAY) added.
How can I explain? It's just that... I understand Tonks' feelings very well. As previously mentioned, I have been Tonks' shoulder to cry on more than once. Except not Tonks. Another early 20-something having an affair with a 40-year-old professor-type. And... another one after that.
And I see the same patterns I saw then coming out with Remus/Tonks. You curse the guy, but you don't want it to not work out. It won't, of course, but you want it to.
Would I want to BE Remus or Tonks? NO. Haha, no. But do I want to read/think/write about them? Absolutely. Bring it on.
